With seven plants across five states in Australia, Joe White Maltings is ideally positioned to access Australia’s premium barley growing areas, allowing to malt locally and close to the barley sources, ensuring the delivery of high-quality malt to our brewing and distilling customers.
Best before date is typically 2 years after production. However, malt can be used beyond this date if stored correctly in dry climate-controlled environment with air flow maximized.
We offer a broad range of malts, from base malts to specialty malts. Our specialty plant in Ballarat uses state-of-the-art roasters to create everything from light amber to crystal and heavily roasted malts.
With seven malting plants across five Australian states, we source and produce malt locally, offering region-specific options. Our Provenance Range includes products like Tasmanian Distilling Malt, made with Tasmanian barley and malted in Devonport, and West Coast Pilsner Malt, crafted from West Coast barley and malted in Perth.
