On 27 September 2004, ABB Grain merged with AusBulk and became the parent company of
Joe White Maltings.
In September 2009, ABB Grain and Viterra reached an historic agreement to combine operations. The company is now known as Viterra, however, malt sold remains branded Joe White Maltings.
